Let the Citristrip stripper sit for a good length of time so it can do it's job of softening the old paint or finish residue before you scrape it off.Strip from the bottom upWhen you strip do it from the bottom up, then anything that runs down can be wiped from a wet surface and it won't leave any drip spots on the lower parts of your furniture. Add a light coat of stripper to the bottom sections of whatever you're stripping as you work your way up so that you always have a wet surface below where you're stripping.
