Teak care is fairly simple. It's oily nature protects teak from the elements when it's used as patio furniture or other outdoor use. Although teak patio furniture is tough stuff it should still have lots of loving care. Teak care is important with indoor furniture as well.

Some people prefer the silver gray color, that teak becomes when exposed to the elements, for their teak outdoor furniture. Even the unfinished teak furniture needs care to keep it looking good.

If you get tired of the unfinished silver gray color and want to have your teak furniture it's original warm brown color you can refinish it.

Indoor furniture requires less care, because it's not exposed to the elements, but to make your teak furniture last a lifetime regular attention is necessary.
